OPEN THREAD: Maryland football vs. Georgia Tech

Good afternoon.

Maryland hopes to get back on track on Saturday at No. 13 Georgia Tech.

Since Labor Day night, when Maryland was the talk of the nation with their flashy new uniforms and offense against Miami, the Terrapins have gone in a different direction.

The Yellow Jackets’ offense could pose a number of questions for Maryland’s defense, which could start four freshmen and might be without Kenny Tate, who is doubtful with an undisclosed injury. From Atlanta, Eric Prisbell reports that Tate was on the field stretching before the game, his right leg bandaged. The team still is not saying whether he’ll play, or the extent of his injury.

There’s still time to vote in our Maryland-Georgia Tech poll. Heavy consensus on a Georgia Tech blowout.

Leave your thoughts on the game in the comments.
