Linebacker Ryan Donohue and running back Gary Douglas are leaving the Maryland football program, Terrapins Coach Randy Edsall announced in a statement on Tuesday.

No reason was given for their departures. Both players would have been juniors next season.

Donohue played in 20 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams. He had 12 career tackles, an interception in last season’s game against Wake Forest and a fumble recovery.

In 12 career games, Douglas had 18 rushes for 89 yards. He also had six receptions for 78 yards. Douglas played in only two games last season because of injuries.

Maryland also announced that running back Haroon Brown will graduate this summer and not play for the Terrapins this fall. Brown, who played in 29 games and started three, was used mostly as a blocker and on special teams.
