The Maryland men’s basketball team will join Alabama, Colorado, Iona, Purdue, Temple, Western Michigan and Wichita State in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, to be held Nov. 17, 18 and 20 in San Juan.

First-round matchups for the bracket-style tournament haven’t been announced yet, but here’s a look at how the Terrapins have fared in the past against the tournament field.

Alabama: Maryland leads, 3-0 (last game was 1985).

Colorado: Maryland has never played the Buffaloes.

Iona: Maryland leads, 2-0 (last game was 2006; teams also met in 2000 NCAA tournament).

Purdue: Maryland has never played the Boilermakers.

Temple: Temple leads, 5-4. The Owls defeated the Terrapins, 64-61, at the BB&T Classic in December.

Western Michigan: Maryland has never played the Broncos.

Wichita State: Maryland leads, 1-0 (only meeting was in 1968).
