Turgeon radio show debuts Monday

Maryland fans can get a better feel for their new men’s basketball coach Monday night, when The Mark Turgeon Radio Show premieres, broadcast from Buffalo Wild Wings in College Park.

The one-hour show will air at live 7 p.m., with legendary Terps broadcaster Johnny Holliday joining the coach. The public is invited to attend or tune in to the Terrapin Sports Radio Network (TSRN), which includes ESPN 980 in Washington and 105.7 FM in Baltimore. The broadcast is also available through TerpsTV Premium.

Turgeon and Holliday will discuss Maryland’s exhibition victory over Northwood (Fla.) last Friday, as well as the Nov. 13 season-opener against UNC Wilmington. The call-in number for questions or comments: 1-866-950-5225.

Liz Clarke currently covers the Washington Redskins for The Washington Post. She has also covered seven Olympic Games, two World Cups and written extensively about college sports, tennis and auto racing.
