Brownies, beer & squid: D.C.’s blogs

Good afternoon. Well, the downpour seems to have dwindled to a trickle, but there's word we'll get much more rain — and possibly thunder this evening, so we're not out of the woods yet. Bit of good news? Looks like the weekend will be clear. We're a week out from St. Patrick's Day and the D.C. area blogosphere has taken note. And spring is almost here, so gardeners around the area might want to take note of today's post from The Slow Cook.

That's it for now. Stay dry and have a great rest of the day. I'll be back tomorrow with more great posts from the D.C. area blogosphere. Have a thought or comment? Post below or e-mail me at You can also follow me on Twitter.
