With the presidential election ramping up and Redskins preseason football beginning, it’s evident that fall is rapidly approaching. The shift to cooler temperatures means a few wardrobe adjustments are necessary, and local bloggers Alison Gary of Wardrobe Oxygen has some tips on the most popular fashion trends of fall 2012.

“Last fall designers took the summer colorblocking trend up a notch with monoblocking. Runways had models sporting one-color outfits from head to toe, or varying intensities of the same hue. This trend has returned for fall, but in one specific color – white.”
