Harlem Globetrotter to dribble across Francis Scott Key Bridge

This post has been updated.

A member of the Harlem Globetrotters will dribble and spin a basketball from Francis Scott Key Bridge to Georgetown Monday.

Globetrotter Herbert “Flight Time” Lang‘s 1.2 mile journey on Monday will kick off D.C.’s “Globetrotter Week,” which includes three games at the Verizon Center and local school visits, according to a press release. (View his route here.)

Lang will spin his way across Francis Scott Key Bridge around 1:30 p.m.

He took a similar trip from Trenton, N.J. to Philadelphia, Pa. last week, crossing the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

He and his teammate Nate “Big Easy” Lofton were contestants on “The Amazing Race” twice. Lang has also appeared on “The Price is Right,” “The Bachelorette” and “Hell’s Kitchen.”
