Peeps Show: Movie and TV classics, remade with Peeps

Because elaborate dioramas featuring Peeps just aren’t enough, we’ve rounded up elaborate reimaginings of classics from the worlds of film and television — “Star Wars,” Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds,” “Project Runway” (yes, it is a classic) — featuring colorful marshmallow chicks and bunnies that are alternately delightful and terrifying.

If eating Peeps is more your style, don’t feel left out of the creative fun. YouTube abounds with instructional videos on making “Peepshi” (Peeps sushi), Peeps s’mores and Peeps krispies:

If you’re still craving more of the mushy sweet treats, see the 2010 finalists here, check out our recent chat, and connect with other fans.

And check back with The Buzz for a daily dose of Peepsy goodness (past topics include this year’s trends, a Q&A, a chance to vote for the best of the best and lots of other weird stuff). It all leads up to the big reveal of the Peeps Show 2011 contest winner this Wednesday.
