Donate coats. ZIPS Dry Cleaners center is accepting gently used coats and clothing to be distributed to homeless veterans by the Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center in January.

Follow up on a food drive. Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center’s Fall Food Drive for Needy Veterans ends Nov. 23, but follow up with participating restaurants and agencies here.

USO of Metropolitan Washington accepts online donations. The Armed Forces Foundation of Washington also accepts online donations in a variety of categories.
