Gov. Chris Christie held a press conference at 1 p.m. ET in Trenton, N.J. where he announced he will not seek the GOP presidential nomination in 2012.

The Fix reported earlier today that sources close to Christie confirmed he would not run. Christie spoke to reporters for nearly an hour about his decision.
