“Sweet 2016” finals: Andrew Cuomo vs Marco Rubio

After three round of voting, we’ve whittled down the 16 candidates considered most likely to run for president to just two!

For Democrats, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (our #1 seed) sits at the top of the pile, having easily defeated Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (the #7 seed) in one national semifinal.

For Republicans, the competition was much closer. But Florida Sen Marco Rubio (the #1 seed) pulled out a narrow win over New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was the #2 seed for the GOP 2016 field.

That sets up a battle of the political titans for supremacy in our “Sweet 2016” competition. If you haven’t voted in the our bracket competition before, now is the time. Voting will stay open until 6 pm Sunday night. We’ll unveil the big winner on Monday.
