Todd Akin’s largest benefactors

My friends at MSNBC and elsewhere on the left are talking about Rep. Todd Akin’s spirit and shadow at the Republican National Convention.

Well, the truth is the talk about Akin (R-Mo.) in Tampa says more about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) than it does about the GOP. According to Haley Barbour, Reid and Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) were Akin’s largest benefactors, spending over $1 million on ads in Missouri in support of Todd Akin during the Republican primaries.
