The Switch turns one — and we’re having a party tonight!

On July 29, 2013 The Switch team huddled under our sign in the Washington Post newsroom for this blog's introductory post. And now a year later, we're bigger and better than ever with Hayley Tsukayama's help on the consumer tech beat and Nancy Scola's fresh new leadership driving our policy coverage.

To celebrate our first birthday, we're having a reader meet up today. If you're in D.C., come talk to us about net neutrality, cybersecurity, or your favorite Star Trek series!

WHO: Switch writers Andrea Peterson, Brian Fung, Hayley Tsukayama, and Nancy Scola -- plus you!

WHEN: Tuesday, July 29 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: Science Club, on 19th St. NW between M and L.

Tell us you're coming by RSVPing here!

We feel fantastic and we're still alive. Plus, at least at this party, the cake will not be a lie.

Andrea Peterson covers technology policy for The Washington Post, with an emphasis on cybersecurity, consumer privacy, transparency, surveillance and open government.
