#BrotherSpeak: Fear, Love, Dream

by The RootDC Editors

The Washington Post and the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education have embarked on a three part video series entitled “BrotherSpeak.” It’s a project that explores the lives of black men through their shared experiences.

The second installment of “BrotherSpeak” is on love and we would like to hear from you. Join the #Brotherspeak conversation on Twitter today, (1/15) at 2:00 pm ET as our host @TheRoot247 explores Black Men and Love with an incredible group of featured guests.

Also, we want to hear from anyone who is interested in uploading their own videos and discuss what they fear as men and women. We’ll then embedd your videos in this blog post. Follow the easy instructions below.

How to upload a video of your own:

Step 1. Log into your YouTube or Google account.

Step 2. If you have a webcam, select the tab that says “webcam” below and record your response.

Step 3. If you’re pleased with the video that you’ve captured, hit “upload.” Your video will then be uploaded to YouTube.
