As part of its mission to foster Chicago’s leadership, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs has announced the 2011 Class of Emerging Leaders.

Twenty-two individuals from government, private and nonprofit sectors have been identified as “those who will help Chicago compete and thrive in the global era,” according to CCGA.

The two-year program includes a year of seminars on global issues and a year to produce a report on a global challenge in conjunction with CCGA staff.

The program is supported by the McCormick Foundation.
