“Is a war with Iran possible?” was the question posed at Politico’s Arena this morning.
Heritage Foundation’s James Carafano offers one of the more forceful answers:
The U.S. would be in the right to strike targets related to the Quds Force leadership and associated facilities. There is no difference between such a punitive strike and going after al Qaeda and affiliated groups in Pakistan.
Carafano says “popping off” missiles isn’t enough and needs to be a part of a comprehensive plan to bring Iran to its knees.
