The Washington Post

The worst president of the 20th century

Over at The Best Defense, Center for a New American Security fellow Tom Ricks asks readers earlier this week who the worst president of the twentieth century was.

The candidates, according to reader nominations, were: Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.

Today, the results are in. And it was a near tie. Guess who won? Lost. Whatever.
