Jon Stewart practices chimp greeting with primatologist Jane Goodall [VIDEO]

“The Daily Show” faux newsman Jon Stewart and renowned primatologist Jane Goodall demonstrate a “proper chimpanzee greeting” before discussing new Disney docu-flick “Chimpanzee,” about a young orphan chimp named Oscar who’s adopted by the chimp family leader Freddie after the other chimp moms reject him.

In the documentary, shot by the same British team that brought you “Frozen Planet,” viewers will learn that “fortunately chimpanzee politics is a bit nicer than ours,” Goodall says.

“Geesh — I did not think you were going in that direction!” Stewart remarks.

Goodal’s out promoting the flick because, for its first week only, Disney’s giving a cut of the box office to her Jane Goodall Foundation.
