Both ABC’s “Good Morning America” and NBC’s “Today” show had very dramatic couch moments this month.

On June 11, “GMA” co-host Robin Roberts announced she’d been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome.

This week, on Thursday, NBC’s “Today” show co-anchor Ann Curry announced the show was ending her short tenure as co-host,  though she would remain the show’s “anchor at large.”
