CNN announced Friday it would re-run the Sheen interview “everyone is still talking about” on Friday night.

No, silly! Not Sheen’s radio rant with Alex Jones that caused CBS and Warner Bros. to shut down production on “Two and a Half Men” for the rest of the TV season.

And no, not Sheen’s chat with Howard Stern about the bedroom arrangement with the Goddesses who’ve taken up residence at his house.

CNN is re-running Charlie Sheen’s one-on-one interview with Piers Morgan!

Meanwhile, one of MTV’s networks is showing a surprising degree of sanctimoniousness about the whole Sheen situation.

“Dr. Drew pairs with VH1 for news special on Charlie Sheen” the network announced Friday.

VH1 has decided to name its Monday “news” special...

VH1 News Presents: Charlie Sheen: Winning...or Losing it? with Dr. Drew

...because apparently its show name writers get paid by the word.

Dr. Drew, the host of the late-night radio show, “Loveline,” and also host of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew,” will present a no-holds-barred examination of the relationship between celebrity addiction and narcissism, VH1 said.

“Drew will give viewers insight into one of the most intriguing celebrity meltdowns to date by analyzing Sheen’s recent behavior and giving his expert opinion on what could be wrong with him,” the network added.

Thank goodness this show is being produced under the watchful eye of VH1 News, so it won’t be tawdry.

Dr. Drew Pinsky has dedicated his career to helping people overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol, VH1 reminds us in case we hadn’t heard his name in the past 20 minutes and had forgotten.

Charlie Sheen, on the other hand, “has always seemed to live the life of a rock star with lots of sex and drugs but over the last few years his life has begun to spiral out of control,” VH1 explained. “]A]nd the recent spate of events surrounding Sheen have the world wondering, ‘What happened?’.”

Meanwhile, what’s the one thing that’s been missing from this whole Charlie Sheen Scorched Earth Media Tour?

Taiwanese animation! Am I right, or am I right?

Into the void steps MTV’s Spike TV network, premiering a special on Wednesday called “Charlie Sheen’s Winningest Moments,” in which the network counts down Sheen’s most memorable “winning” moments, re-created through “cutting-age” Taiwanese animation.

The special, Spike assures us, will be hosted by two female characters called “The Goddesses.”
