Democrats unveil new ads in Virginia to support Obama’s jobs plan

The Democratic National Committee will launch a second set of television ads in several swing states, including Virginia, to promote President Obama’s jobs plan.

The ads, titled “Get Going,” will begin airing this weekend on broadcast and cable television. They will run in Richmond, Norfolk and Roanoke as well as the Washington D.C. market, which includes Northern Virginia.

“Tell Congress: No more games. Pass the plan,’’ the narrator says.

Earlier this month, Democrats began a campaign to promote the plan with TV ads, online ads and a Web site, where people can learn more about the bill and sign a petition.
