Virginia’s first family celebrates wedding at mansion

She is the first of Gov. Bob McDonnell’s five children to wed and the fifth daughter of a Virginia governor to celebrate her nuptials at the federal style mansion, the oldest continuously operating governor’s home in the country.

Here, presented for the collective “awws” of state residents, is an official portrait of the happy couple, snapped on the steps of the Capitol building designed by Thomas Jefferson.
