On Thursday, he held a fundraiser for Sen. Steve Newman (R-Lynchburg) in Forest.

The same day, he also headlined a Rocky Mount fundraiser for Del. Charles Poindexter (R-Franklin), who faces a tough race against House Minority Leader Ward Armstrong.
