Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu next week while in Israel on his fourth trade mission.

McDonnell will be in Israel Thursday through Monday before heading to India for the remainder of his trip. He will meet with Netanyahu on Sunday, his office said.

The two are expected to discuss the important economic relationship between Virginia and Israel and opportunities for more partnerships in the years ahead.

McDonnell will return to Virginia on Nov. 22.

He will travel to India because of its importance as an expanding market, and to Israel to build on relationships with companies with operations in Virginia, his office said.

You may remember that Netanyahu mentioned the Israeli company Sabra (think humus) after it opened a major facility in Richmond while he was speaking this spring at AIPAC policy conference.
