Obama cancels today’s Virginia visit

President Obama has canceled his scheduled visit to Virginia Tuesday morning.

Obama was to appear at Interstate Moving Services in Springfield, where he was to talk about new fuel efficiency standards for trucks, buses and other heavy-duty vehicles.

Instead, he will meet behind closed doors with industry officials at the White House to discuss the standards before conferring with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.
