Obama to begin selling jobs plan in Richmond

President Obama will visit Richmond on Friday, the day after he gives his speech on jobs to a joint session of Congress. The exact location has yet to be announced.

The Richmond area is home to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R), a frequent critic of the president.

Obama is expected to ask Congress for a new round of stimulus spending and tax cuts as he seeks to address how to create jobs.
