Paul Ryan to campaign in Danville, Va.

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was in Virginia just a few days ago, and you know what that means: Time for another visit.

The rally takes place at 9:30 a.m. at Piedmont Precision Machine, 150 Airside Drive in Danville. Doors open at 7 a.m.

Ryan campaigned in Harrisonburg and attended a fund-raiser in Roanoke on Friday, one day after his running mate, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney stumped in Fairfax.

Both have visited the battleground state frequently since Ryan was first unveiled as Romney’s No. 2 in Norfolk. So have their surrogates, including Romney’s wife, Ann.

President Obama, Vice President Biden and their surrogates also have made the commonwealth a regular campaign stop. Michelle Obama visited Richmond and Fredericksburg on Thursday. The president plans to campaign in Woodbridge on Friday.
