Some Virginia pols who have been trying to help Mitt Romney at home headed for another swing state for a huge rally Friday.

Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R) and state Del. Barbara Comstock (R-Fairfax) were in Ohio for a Romney rally Friday night. With

them was former congressman Artur Davis, who used to represent Alabama as a Democrat but now calls Virginia and the GOP home.

All three had speaking roles at the Republican National Convention in August.

The Friday rally, described on The Washington Post’s Election 2012 blog as “sequel” to the convention, will feature nearly

100 governors, congressmen and mayors in addition to Romney and his running mate Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.)
