Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) will join several governors and U.S. senators, including Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), in Alexandria Tuesday to talk about energy.
McDonnell will host the Southern States Energy Board Governors Energy Summit at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.
Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley (R) and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R) will lead panel discussions. Warner, Sens. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) and Joe Manchin (D-WVa.) and CEOs of major energy companies will offer presentations to the group on oil and gas drilling, nuclear energy and EPA regulations.
