The Washington Wizards open the regular season on Monday night against the New Jersey Nets at Verizon Center. Washington is coming off an 0-2 record in the preseason, with both losses to Philadelphia.

Most recently, the Wizards fell, 101-94, at Wells Fargo Center on Friday. The final margin was a drastic improvement over the preseason opener at Verizon Center, where Washington lost, 103-78, on Dec. 16.
