The Washington Wizards (2-12) try for their first winning streak of the sesaon against Denver (10-5), which has the second best record in the Western Conference and is two games behind Oklahoma City. The Wizards beat the Thunder, 105-102, on Wednesday night for their second victory of the season.

The Wizards are playing their second game in three nights and the second of three games in five days, but they’ve had adequate time to prepare for the Nuggets’ frenetic style behind guards Andre Miller and Ty Lawson. A fast start would go a long way toward helping Washington win consecutive games since April 3 and 5 of last year.
