Game 39 discussion thread: Trail Blazers at Wizards

The Washington Wizards are coming off an exhilarating 106-101 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday in which they rallied from 21 points down for their second triumph in three games.

Washington had the rare luxury during this lockout-compressed season of two full days to prepare for Portland on Saturday, and the Trail Blazers are playing their second game in as many nights.

The Wizards will be playing for the final time at home until March 22. After facing Portland, they’ll head out for a season-long six game road trip over 10 days.

Nick Young scored a season-high 35 points during the teams’ last meeting at the Rose Garden, and he’s been averaging 22 points over his last two games after a slow start out of the All-Star break.

“I know they’ll be keying on me more,” Young said.
