The Wizards ended a five-game slide last night with a 113-85 victory over Charlotte. Tonight they look to end a nine-game slide, including three in a row this season, against Orlando, which apparently will be without all-star center Dwight Howard.

Back spasms have forced Howard to miss three games in two weeks, but Orlando routed Detroit without him on Monday, 119-89. In those nine straight wins against the Wizards, Howard is avearging 24.3 points on 73 percent shooting and 13.4 rebounds.

The last time the teams played, Wizards point guard John Wall had 33 points in a 102-95 loss on Feb. 29 at Verizon Center.
