Open thread: Wizards (20-56) vs. Pistons (26-50)

The Wizards will not have Nick Young (left knee bone bruise), Cartier Martin (left foot stress fracture), Hamady Ndiaye (strained left patella tendon), Trevor Booker, Rashard Lewis or Josh Howard for the remainder of the season, Coach Flip Saunders said on Tuesday, leaving the team with just nine players. Saunders said he hopes that President Ernie Grunfeld can add another player soon. “Unless we can find somebody like in the [NBA Development League], but then we would probably have to get rid of somebody. I would like to get another guy because my concern is ... we play tonight and then we go play four games in five days, so when you have to play extended minutes they’re going to hit a wall at some point or they’re going to get hurt. Ernie and his crew, they’re looking to see what’s available.”
