The Wizards will play the first of three games in three nights on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, who are looking for the season sweep. The Hawks have won both meetings between the teams in Atlanta, including a 102-88 victory at Philips Arena last week, when Joe Johnson led all scorers with 34 points. Washington defeated the Hawks the last time the two teams played at Verizon Center, claiming a 115-83 victory on April 9.

The Washington Bullets and Wizards Alumni Association will be recognized at halftime of the game. Phil Chenier, Bob Dandridge, Kevin Grevey, Wali Jones, Stan Love, Tom McMillen, Tracy Murray, Len “Truck” Robinson, Jerry Sachs, David Vanterpool and Gus Williams are all expected to be in attendance.
