Singleton, a former first-round pick, saw his playing time dwindle with the Wizards last season.

After starting 62 games during his first two years, Wizards forward was limited to just 25 game appearances this past season.

While the Wizards tried moving him to power forward, Singleton saw himself as a small forward on a team backloaded at that position.

After starting the season on shelf with a foot injury, then rarely playing, Chris Singleton is finally getting his shot - and he came up with a huge performance in Toronto.

Forward was sidelined for nearly two months by a foot injury.

The Wizards welcomed back three injured players to practice, as Otto Porter and Chris Singleton practice for the first time and Trevor Ariza returns. Only Ariza will play - and start - against the Los Angeles.

The former first-round picks will both be unrestricted free agents next summer after the Wizards declined their fourth-year options.

First-round draft pick has been unable to practice since the start of training camp.

Chris Singleton no longer needs crutches and Trevor Booker is ready to make his preseason debut on Saturday against Chicago.

Injury comes at a bad time for forward who hoped to have option picked up.
