Sharing that gem from
Trover is based on a great concept. An app aimed at helping people discover and share gems in their own neighborhoods, the Instagram-like display is a great way to spread the word about a hidden grocery store, cafe or simply a really beautiful view. The app is full of potential, giving users a way to see all the suggested contributions in the area, with a mileage meter showing how far they are from someone’s secret spot. Select an image, and you can read a description about a given place.
The problem with Trover is in the execution. Without people contributing good content, and often, the app falls flat. Free, for iOS.
