We compiled a list of some of the most expensive homes for sale in the Washington area, using data from Rockville-based multiple-listing service Bright MLS. Listings range from $5.7 million for a penthouse overlooking the Potomac River on the Georgetown waterfront to $19.75 million for Cleremont Farm in Upperville, which includes six houses.
