Hello Alfred coordinates everything from grocery shopping to house cleaning to party planning to pet services. (Hello Alfred)

Alexa has competition in a new hospitality, technology and in-home commerce platform named Alfred. Hello Alfred, a service that operates in the District as well as numerous other cities across the United States, coordinates everything from grocery shopping to house cleaning to party planning to pet services.

The platform connects residents with providers to make sure you have clean laundry in your closet, food in your refrigerator, packages delivered to your living room and a tidy apartment.

In a city full of expensive apartments, developers differentiate their properties by escalating their amenities. At Coda on H, a 112-apartment building at 315 H St. NE in the District, MRP Realty and equity partner Kruger Real Estate recently added Hello Alfred services for renters. Renters can use Hello Alfred to help them set up moving services and then set up regular services without the need to send reminders.

Rents at Coda on H range from $1,892 for a 446-square-foot studio to $4,295 for a 1,277-square-foot apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Building amenities include terraces and grilling stations, a rooftop clubhouse bar, a first-floor clubroom with a fireplace, and a coffee bar and library.
