Orlando Bloom has listed his home in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood of Los Angeles for $9 million after owning it for two years, as Top Ten Real Estate Deals has reported. The listing agent, Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group who stars in the Netflix reality series “Selling Sunset,” was also Bloom’s agent when he purchased the home for $7 million in 2017.
Bloom made his big-screen debut in the first The Lord Of The Rings film in 2001 and has appeared in each of the subsequent films in the trilogy. He also was also a principal player in the The Hobbit and The Pirates of the Caribbean series as well as starring in films such as “Elizabethtown” and “Romeo and Juliet.”
The four-bedroom, four-bath secluded property is on what’s known as “Billionaire’s Row” within Trousdale Estates, a neighborhood that has been home to celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Frank Sinatra and Ellen DeGeneres.
This contemporary-style home has several full-length sliding-glass doors that open to the outdoors. Despite the full views, the home is surrounded by mature trees and a steeply sloped backyard to create an extra layer of privacy. An understated front entrance also adds to the incognito factor.
“The house is very sleek and sexy, it feels like you’ve walked in to the most luxurious mid-century Palm Springs hotel, with exceptionally curated design features,” Oppenheim said.
With 4,000 square feet of living space there is a large main living room designed for entertaining. It also comes with a sunken seating area for smaller gatherings. Both sides of the room have sliding-glass doors to create an indoor/outdoor environment.
Several of the bedrooms have direct access to the deck surrounding the infinity-edge pool. The master bath also walks out to a private outdoor deck.
The kitchen relies on a sleek white decor to blend in seamlessly with the open-plan arrangement.
