A Hollywood home where actor Bette Midler lived in the 1980s and director George Lucas also lived almost 30 years later is now on the market for $4.3 million, after first listing for $4.48 million at the end of 2018. Craig White of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent.
According to Top Ten Real Estate, Midler lived in the home from 1983 to 1987 when she started her production company, All Girl Productions, to bring a focus to her musical talents as well as her acting chops. Her long singing and acting career includes the popular song “Wind Beneath My Wings” and leading roles in “The First Wives Club” and “The Rose.” Midler has been nominated twice for an Academy Award and won three Golden Globe awards, three Grammy awards and three Emmy awards. Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, only owned the house from 2008 to 2010. He owns several properties in California, including Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, which houses several divisions of his company, Lucasfilm.
