The 113-unit building at 2144 California St. NW, which has a restored exterior, was designed by Forrest Perkins, the interior architectural firm that designed the five-star Jefferson and Fairmont hotels. In addition, there is a residents-only Ora Club, a first-floor lounge with a coffee bar and communal work areas, a fitness center with Peloton bikes, a pet spa, covered parking, bike storage, and storage lockers.
Ora is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, along with the Phillips Collection art museum and Mitchell Park.
The apartments have large windows with views of the neighborhood and city landmarks, walnut plank floors, a stacked washer-and-dryer, and open kitchens with stainless-steel appliances and quartz counters.
