Among the housing options is Solaire 8250 Georgia, a 20-story, 338-unit apartment building completed this summer by Washington Property Co. The company also plans to break ground this year on Solaire Silver Spring II in the same neighborhood. Its Solaire-Metro apartment building opened in 2012.
Approximately half of the Solaire 8250 Georgia has been leased. Available apartments range from 496 square feet to 1,249 square feet and rent for $1,726 to $3,329 per month. The apartments have wood floors, oversize windows, balconies and contemporary-style kitchens with quartz counters and stainless-steel appliances. There are three levels of garage parking.
Building amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, a cafe with free WiFi, a courtyard with grilling areas, a fitness center and a club room that includes a kitchen, a game room, a library, a flat-panel TV and an indoor-outdoor fireplace.
Lendlease of Rockville was the general contractor on the building and Design Collective of Baltimore was the architect.
