Home buyers in the D.C. region with a budget capped at $400,000 sometimes struggle to find a single-family home that fits their finances. Although prices rose by 14.5 percent to $340,000 in April compared to April 2019, buyers looking for more affordable homes may want to start with Prince George’s County.
