When the start-up hub known as 1776 opens on 15th Street NW this week, workers and visitors will see a bold decorative vision that stands in contrast to the many conservative work spaces in this government town.
Maggie O'Neill, the creative director at O’Neill Studios, is designing 1776's space in Northwest Washington. She says Washington is "the beigest city in the world," and she hopes the office will stand in stark contrast to that theme.
