Chatsworth, Calif.-based 1105 Media is holding two government contracting-related events in the District this week.

The first, GovSec, which runs from Monday through Wednesday, focuses on security technology for government and law enforcement agencies.

The second, FOSE, which used to stand for Federal Office Systems Expo, runs from Tuesday through Thursday. This event focuses on technology for government agencies.

Keynote speakers at the events include Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Steve VanRoekel, Sen. Thomas R. Carper (D-Del.), retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal and former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Thiesman.

Both events take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Pl. NW. Admission varies.

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Government Contracting Network Procurement Conference. Keynote speakers include A. John Shoraka, associate administrator of government contracting and business development at the Small Business Administration, and Pam Mazza, managing partner of PilleroMazza.
