The Northern Virginia Technology Council is holding a panel discussion on “Leveraging the Cloud to Secure Critical Systems and Improve Customer Privacy” on Thursday.

Topics are to include cloud security, privacy, misperceptions of the cloud and the impact of borders on the cloud.

Mark Ryland, public sector chief solutions architect for Amazon Web Services, is to give the keynote.

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce is hosting the County Executive Democratic Primary Forum.
