Leisure and hospitality: 11,400 jobs added The leisure and hospitality industry has lately added more jobs than any other sector in the Washington region. Between March 2012 and March 2013, the sector added 11,400 positions. Economists say the growth is likely fueled by an influx of young professionals to the region who are spending their money at local restaurants and bars.
