Fremont, Calif.-based Silicon Graphics International said it has acquired Rockville-based storage technology company FileTek. Terms were not disclosed.

British private equity firm Apax Partners said that its affiliates will acquire McLean-based software and engineering development company GlobalLogic. Terms were not disclosed.

Bethesda-based RLJ Lodging Trust said that it has acquired the 106-room SpringHill Suites Portland Hillsboro hotel in Oregon for $24 million.


Fairfax-based Crestline Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of the Detroit Marriott Southfield and the Atlanta Marriott Norcross. The two hotels recently came under new ownership.

Fairfax-based software company Active Navigation said it has received a contract from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to help with its records.


Baltimore-based sports media company PressBox said it plans to expand to the Washington market with, which would cover Washington sports teams, later this fall.

Charlottesville online grocery store Relay Foods said it has expanded to Fredericksburg.

Bethesda-based brokerage Greysteel said it is merging its capital markets subsidiary with Arlington-based Bear Cos., to create an investment banking and capital markets affiliate to be called Greysteel Capital Market. The merger is subject to regulatory approvals.


Vienna-based Cel-Sci said it signed a cooperative research and development agreement with the Naval Medical Center in San Diego to use Cel-Sci’s Multikine in a study involving patients with HIV and human papilloma virus.
