The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s 18th annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards is Monday.

The gala event honors chief financial officers and financiers for outstanding achievements in five categories. Ron Kaiser, a chief executive and CFO to many area technology companies, is to receive the Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, 1700 Tysons Blvd., McLean. $295 for members, $375 for everyone else.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council is holding a panel discussion on “How Emerging Companies Can Begin Doing Business with the Government.” Panelists include Deepak Hathiramani of Vistronix, Gary K. Jones of the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer, Jennifer Schaus of Schaus & Associates and Peter Zahirieh of the State Department.
